2008 Residential Street Program
Project Abstract
As a part of the 1/8-Cent Sales Tax for Street Improvements Program,
Overland Park is upgrading the following residential streets:
- 72nd Terrace (Hardy to
Lowell)
- 74th Terrace (Antioch
East)
- 74th Street (Antioch
East)
- 74th Street (West of
Mackey to East of Hardy)
- Hadley (75th to 74th)
- Hardy (75th to 71st)
- Mackey (East of Antioch to Merriam Drive)
- 66th Street (Glenwood
to Lamar)
- Riggs (South of 66th)
- Walmer (67th to 65th Terrace)
- 85th Street (Goddard to Switzer)
- 74th and Woodson Storm Sewer Improvements.
When completed, storm sewers will replace the existing drainage ditches
and each street will have been reconstructed with new asphalt pavement and concrete
curb and gutter. Construction will begin in the Spring of 2008.
