Walter P Moore is improving the City of Overland Park’s infrastructure through its efforts on the city’s 2008 Residential Street Program, the 2006 CDBG Program, and the 2005 CDBG Program and 2006 Residential Street Program - Part 3.  The civil engineering group of this nationwide firm has designed new asphalt roadways with concrete curbs and gutters, a new storm sewer system, new residential and commercial driveways, new sidewalks and street lighting.

Walter P Moore’s comprehensive civil engineering services for infrastructure projects include project development and management, site design, and design and construction oversight.  In addition to the work performed for Overland Park, the firm also provides design and improvements of highways, public and private utility systems and drainage studies.

The firm opened its Kansas City office in 1999 after acquiring the well-respected structural and civil engineering design firm, Kerr Conrad Graham.  This office is now the second largest of nine offices.  It was named one of the best places to work in 2002 and 2003 by the Kansas City Business Journal, acknowledgements that complement national awards for firmwide workplace quality.  Among the firm’s other recognitions are those received by the Kansas City office for its innovative engineering design solutions.

Our nationwide presence gives us some uncommon advantages, such as providing clients with the security of extensive national resources and the intimacy of a local business partner.  More than 90 percent of our clients seek our services more than once.  It also lets us draw on the talents of 360-plus technical staff with knowledge across the spectrum of structural engineering and diagnostics, parking consulting, research and development and civil, traffic and transportation engineering.

We like to think our work improves the lives of millions of people every day, whether in transportation, commercial, cultural or health care settings.  Find out more at www.walterpmoore.com.
